Craig & Lucy’s Leicester wedding
Being a Leicester wedding photographer, it is always nice to carry out wedding photography at local venues.
Today was Craig and Lucy’s wedding. They chose their local church, St Peter’s, to hold their ceremony.
It was a lovely sunny day, though there was a slight chill in the air.
The day started well. I arrived at Lucy’s parents home, where I meet Lucy, along with her family and bridesmaids. Taking some candid shots of them all getting ready, having a few drink and giggles.
It wasn’t long before Lucy’s wedding car arrived, to take the bridesmaids to the church, before taking Lucy.
Even though there was a slight hiccup with the wedding car breaking down, this did little to dampen the atmosphere.
The ceremony and the rest of the day went without any further hiccups.
After the ceremony, all the guests made the short journey to the Castle Hotel, Kirby Muxloe. The hotel’s gardens back on to the ruins of Kirby Muxloe castle, which made a great back drop for their ‘formal’ photos, before enjoying their wedding breakfast back in the Castle Hotel.
